John G Alevizos, DO

Board-certified family practice physician and surgeon John Alevizos, DO, is the president and founder of Edinger Urgent Care in Santa Ana, California.

Dr. Alevizos earned his Bachelor of Science in biology from Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois. He then received his master’s degree from the University of Illinois, also in Chicago, before attending Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine for his medical degree. Afterward, he completed his family practice residency and internship at LAC+USC Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.

He is currently an assistant clinical professor at Western University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, California. Dr. Alevizos is a California Qualified Medical Examiner, United States civil surgeon, and certified medical review officer.

Dr. Alevizos is board certified by the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine and the American Board of Anti-Aging/Regenerative Medicine. To better serve more patients, he is fluent in English, Spanish, and Greek.
